“Our guests have been amazed at how perfectly VR technology is adapted to the slides. It has unlocked a new level of excitement for them and inspired many to try new experiences!”

Natha Jamasevi, General Manager at Vana Nava Water Jungle said.

“After the temporary closure, we relaunched the VR campaign, and we now have had over 16,000 VR riders in only 4 months and over 14 million impressions. Despite the challenging situation with Covid, the VRSlide technology has brought new guests and repeat guests to our park”.

Vana Nava is the first two-person vehicle system developed by Ballast, doubling the capacity of the original single tube VRSlide. The three experiences at Vana Nava  are Snow Dragon, where users fly past dragons to explore the surrounding snow-draped mountains, Mystic Jungle, where customers roam through the jungle with its mesmerizing colors and other-wordly atmosphere, and Sky Temple, a mystical land of mystery that can be explored from a hot air balloon.

While safety is a major concern around the world, Ballast products have proven that waterproof VRSlide systems are easy and quick to disinfect, making them just as popular now as they were pre-pandemic at locations that have reopened.

“Guest safety and disinfection have always been a top priority of ours at Ballast since 2018”

Stephen Greenwood, Ballast’s CEO states.

“For us it’s part of our routine a normal state and always will be. Safety and hygiene has always been a priority for us, but now more than ever we are taking all measures to ensure that using Ballast products remains a safe experience.”

He goes on to state:

“Our fourth and latest installation has allowed us to perfect this technology and content in a way that makes us confident we can build VRSlides safely anywhere in the world.  It’s not only an incredible guest experience, it’s also a proven new revenue stream for wWaterparks everywhere.”

Ballast is the world leader in Waterpark VR since 2017 with over 25 installations worldwide that generate added revenue for waterparks.  Their VRSlide® and DIVR® systems create a unique revenue package for waterparks that are proven guest satisfaction drivers.
